Bonkers
Georgia appeared in four episodes (of the six made) of the drama-sitcom Bonkers, playing the part of Debbie Hooper in 2007.
The series stars Liza Tarbuck (Linda Green) as likeable forty-something schoolteacher, Helen, who is married to struggling soap writer Tony, played by Mark Addy. Lynda Bellingham also makes an appearance.
During the party for their 20th wedding anniversary, Helen’s life is thrown into turmoil when an ex-pupil announces that Tony has been having an affair. Meanwhile, Helen’s neighbours and family are having relationship problems and emotional traumas of their own.
As Helen’s marriage appears to be in tatters, somehow something “bonkers” happens and she is delighted to find herself living with film star Felix Nash, who does not exactly feel the same way. What ensues is a riotous tale of the inner-workings of relationships, sex, and the misunderstandings that occur between neighbours, friends and family, as the sexual habits of suburbia are laid bare.
What will become of Helen and Tony? Will Helen manage to ensnare Felix? And what about the rest of the family? Find out in this side-splitting comedy series as the hilarious details of the characters’ lives and relationships are revealed and the story unfolds...
