Liberty News was the fictional online news site that invited viewers of the BBCThree series [Spooks] Code 9 to dive into 2013, a world in which London had suffered a catastrophic nuclear attack.
The website stayed active for a few months after the series finished, however was removed once a second series wasn't commissioned.
The original description of the site was this:
To find out what life is like in 2013 - how everyone has been affected, how civil liberties have completely changed, and how MI5 is targetting university students in an effort to boost its numbers in the wake of the blast, visit Liberty News. The news site with a twist.
Seconds after events happen in the show, the Liberty News website will update online and on mobile with breaking news stories containing extra information, photos and videos.
