In a nutshell...
Heather wants to be a brilliant doctor, but doesn't quite believe in her own abilities. However, she never lets anyone see her self-doubt!

Background...
Heather comes from a privileged background and has never wanted for anything. When she was a child, Heather fell off a swing in a playground and broke her arm... and she was so impressed with her treatment at the local ED she grew obsessed with becoming a doctor.

Every Christmas after that, Heather asked for books on anatomy, posters of skeletons with every bone labelled and doctor playsets. Her parents sent Heather to medical school and she soon became the star of her class - determined, focussed and a very hard worker.

She fell in love with another student, and literally got engaged to him just before arriving at Holby ED.

Tragically, Heather was killed attempting to escape from the Pines Shopping Centre - she was crushed by a burning lift just as she and Adam were about to reach safety.
