White Van Man Filming

The Stockport Citizen reports that filming for White Van Man - the comedy starring Will Mellor and Georgia is filming in and around Cheadle.

The piece is primarily about Will Mellor (who hails from Stockport) and doesn't mention Georgia, however the article mentions eight other cast members, of which Georgia should be one.

TARDIS Project Auction Raises £1000

The10GrandCharityChallenge raised over £1000 with the recent TARDIS Project Charity Auction on Ebay, where a picture of the TARDIS drawn and signed by Georgia was amongst the items up for auction.

The money raised goes to The Great Ormond Street Hospital and Robin has contacted us to say thank you to all the Georgia Fans that bid in support of The10GrandCharityChallenge.

Georgia Starring in "Hens"

The Cast of Georgia is to star in the play "Hens" at The Riverside Studios, from Thursday 17th June to Sunday 20th June 2010.

Written by The Evening Standard's Most Promising playwright of 2009, Alia Bano, Hens explores the relationship between four friends in their twenties on holiday together for a hen night. It looks at the joy, compromises one has to make, the intensity of spending so much time in each other’s company.

Tickets are £12 and can be booked online at the Riverside Studio's website.

The play is part of the Sky Arts Playhouse Live series and will be transmitted on UK Channel Sky Arts 2/HD on Wednesday 23rd June 2010 at 9pm.

Collectormania 16

The Collectormania 16 Festival at Milton Keynes took place over the weekend of Friday 28th to Monday 31st May 2010 at the MK Dons Stadium at Milton Keynes.

Georgia guested at the event on Saturday 29th only, for signings and photos and will be joined by Colin Baker (6th Doctor) with whom Georgia has recorded the Doctor Who story City of Spires and a whole host of other Doctor Who alumni.

Doctor Who : City of Spires, the Sixth Doctor audio adventure from Big Finish has released some details about the 2CD set. The CD story goes on sale on 30th April 2010 and stars Colin Baker as The Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jaime and Georgia Moffett as Alice.

New DW Audiobook

A new Doctor Who audiobook was released by BBC Audio on Wednesday 3rd March 2010. Entitled "Doctor Who: Autonomy", it is a 10th Doctor Adventure adapted from the book by Daniel Blythe and is narrated by Georgia.

An older audiobook - Red Dawn - is being offered for purchase and download from Big Finish.

About Georgia Moffett

Georgia MoffettBorn to actors Peter Davison and Sandra Dickinson at just four minutes after midnight on Christmas Day 1984. Georgia attended St Edwards School in Oxford, before pursuing a career in the entertainment industry..

She has performed alongside her father in Red Dawn (as Tanya Webster), a Big Finish Doctor Who and has had roles in many other television dramas, including Peak Practice, Like Father Like Son and The Bill. She took on a recurring role in the ITV drama "Where the Heart is" as Alice Harding and appeared alongside her father in the BBC sitcom, Fear, Stress & Anger. She has starred in Bonkers and in April 2008, she appeared as Officer Penny Bishop in the BBC sitcom My Family.

In "The Doctor's Daughter", Georgia played Jenny, a person created from the Doctor's own DNA on the planet Messaline - in the far future.

Georgia Moffett as Kylie RomanGeorgia  appeared as "Kylie Roman" in  [spooks] Code 9 and as Lady Frances Derwent in an Agatha Christie "Miss Marple" story called "Why Didn't They Ask Evans?".
